Role: Traffic Coordinator

Role: Full Time

Location: Jamaica, NY - In Person

Salary: $40K to $50K

Working Hours: 8 am – 5 pm, Monday thru Friday

Duties, this list is a general outline and is not limited to the below

• Create and issue delivery orders for import and export cargo – both ocean & air
• Follow up with cargo locations for freight availability and the last free day
• Confirm with trucker delivery order received
• Communicate with trucker regarding any information related to picking up and delivery
• Communicate with customer and delivery location to ensure problem-free delivery
• Follow up to ensure shipments are all picked up on time to avoid storage or additional costs
• When necessary, communicate to the customer that delivery was completed
• Update all notes in the system on a timely basis to ensure a clear timeline of events
• Make sure all charges are clearly noted for proper billing

Salary Range: $40,000 - $50,000 per annum as base salary

• After 1-year employee will be enrolled in our company Profit Sharing account which is 100% funded by the company, to the extent offered to all its employees.
• The employee will be 20% vested beginning after 1 year with an additional 20% each year until you reach 100% vested.

Non-cash benefits:

• One-week paid vacation after 6 months plus company-announced, paid holidays (currently 10 days); and 2 weeks after 12 months of employment.
• Vacation time is not carried forward.
• Sick days are according to state law
