Brad Widolok

Entrepreneur, Founder & CEO

Brad Widolok is an entrepreneur and people-first business leader with more than two decades of experience building, growing and operating successful companies.

In 2002, Brad founded Bernard Nickels & Associates (BNA Staffing) with a simple philosophy: strong businesses are built on strong relationships. What began as an independent, entrepreneurial venture grew into a nationwide staffing and recruiting firm serving organizations ranging from emerging companies to Fortune 500 brands.

That same philosophy shapes Brad’s approach to leadership. He believes the ability to understand people—what motivates them, how they work together and what makes them want to stay—is one of the most important skills a business leader can have. Many members of the BNA team have worked together for more than a decade, with several relationships spanning 20 years or more.

Brad expanded his entrepreneurial experience in 2021 with the acquisition of Temporary Staffing + Search (TSS), a long-established staffing company serving the nonprofit sector, where he serves as President and co-owner.

While recruiting has been at the center of Brad’s career, his interests extend well beyond the staffing industry. He is deeply interested in entrepreneurship, business operations, leadership, organizational culture and the challenge of building companies that can grow without losing the people and relationships that made them successful in the first place.

Before founding BNA, Brad served as Managing Director at The Execu|Search Group and began his career in 1996 as an Account Executive for a publicly traded IT training and consulting company. He earned a BA in Journalism from The Ohio State University in 1995.

Outside of business, Brad enjoys playing guitar, staying active and spending time with his wife and three children on Long Island.
