Position Overview

This Junior Recruiter role is part of a structured growth track designed to develop high-potential talent into a full-cycle Recruiter. The Junior Recruiter will support recruiting efforts across both temp and full-time roles while learning the skills, tools, and best practices required to independently manage requisitions and candidate pipelines.

Success in this role is defined by strong activity, consistent learning, quality candidate engagement, and progression toward full-cycle recruiting responsibilities.

Growth Path

Junior Recruiter → Recruiter

  • Learn sourcing, screening, and candidate management fundamentals

  • Progressively take ownership of requisitions

  • Transition into managing searches independently for temp and full-time roles

  • Develop client-facing and consultative recruiting skills

Key Responsibilities (Junior Recruiter Phase)

  • Source candidates for temporary, contract, and full-time positions across all BNA business lines

  • Conduct initial phone/video screens to assess skills, experience, availability, and fit

  • Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for ongoing and recurring staffing needs

  • Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, and candidate communication

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

  • Support senior recruiters and account managers with candidate submissions and requisition coverage

  • Assist with onboarding logistics for temporary placements (availability, start dates, documentation)

  • Learn BNA recruiting processes, compliance standards, and client expectations

Expanded Responsibilities (Recruiter Readiness & Advancement)

As skills and performance develop, responsibilities will expand to include:

  • Managing full-cycle recruiting for assigned roles

  • Partnering with account managers and clients on job requirements and candidate feedback

  • Presenting candidates directly to clients

  • Managing multiple requisitions independently

  • Meeting defined recruiting activity and placement goals

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

  • 0–2 years of experience in recruiting, staffing, sales, HR, or a customer-facing role

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, metrics-driven staffing environment

  • Comfortable with outbound sourcing, calls, and proactive candidate outreach

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Experience with ATS systems or LinkedIn is a plus
