Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week

Work Location: Remote (with potential for occasional travel)

Travel: Must be able to travel, based on end-clients and industries/sectors being served. However, this will primarily be a remote role (NOTE: All business travel expenses will be covered by employer and/or reimbursed)

Compensation: $100 to $120 per hour

Job Description: A Big Four consulting firm is seeking an experienced Global Trade Advisory (SAP GTS) Consultant for a long-term contract engagement supporting its Global Trade Advisory practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), including implementation experience and deep knowledge in one or more of the following domains:

  • Compliance Management

  • Customs Management

  • Trade Preference

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support SAP GTS implementations and configurations.

  • Provide subject matter expertise in global trade processes and SAP GTS functionality.

  • Collaborate with supply chain, compliance, and IT teams to deliver solutions that meet client requirements.

  • Support the hybrid work environment with a commitment to periodic in-person collaboration.

  • Assist with testing, training, and deployment of SAP GTS solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma/GED required; a Bachelor's (or advanced) degree is preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in SAP GTS project implementation.

  • In-depth knowledge of SAP GTS in at least one of the following areas: Compliance Management, Customs Management, or Trade Preference.

  • Trade Data Knowledge:

    • Familiarity with Customs Automated Commercial Environment (“ACE”) system, particularly Entry Summary and Reporting modules

    • Familiarity with supplemental tariffs, such as reciprocal tariffs, Section 232, etc.

    • Experience working with Chapter 99, Subchapter III of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States (“HTSUS”).

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas:

    • Data Wrangling

    • Data Engineering

    • Data Visualization

    • Data Analytics

    • Data Science

    • Understanding of how to join, filter, append, and summarize datasets

    • Understanding of different data types (string/text, numeric, Boolean, etc.)

  • Experience with basic Microsoft Excel (or equivalent) formulas (VLOOKUP, SUMIF/COUNTIF, etc.).

  • Strong understanding of supply chain management processes.

  • Willingness & ability to travel, depending on end-client project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with at least one of the following:

    • Alteryx

    • Microsoft Power Apps (Power Query, Power BI, etc.) or equivalent

    • Tableau

    • SQL

    • Programming languages (Python, R, VBA, etc.)

  • Experience with additional SAP modules.
