Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 (Base Salary range) + Annual Bonus (10%)

This role sits within the industrial drives product management organization and focuses on high-performance drive technologies used in complex industrial applications.
The Product Marketing Manager, Industrial Drives will lead the regional strategy, lifecycle management, and market execution for a portfolio of industrial drive products within the U.S. market. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, commercial strategy, customer engagement, and cross-functional leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in product management within industrial automation, motion control, variable frequency drives (VFDs), or related technologies.
Responsibilities:
Own the technical and market specifications for the regional industrial drive product portfolio.
Develop and execute product offering plans that support long-term profitable growth objectives.
Lead regional product lifecycle management activities, including upgrades, cost optimization, obsolescence planning, and end-of-life decisions.
Serve as the technical interface between customers, sales teams, and internal engineering and product development groups.
Participate in product development stage gate processes and support localization and launch activities for global products.
Lead or support commercial product launch initiatives to ensure successful market introduction and adoption.
Monitor competitive products, technologies, and pricing strategies to identify market opportunities and risks.
Define product roadmaps, technical requirements, pricing targets, and application strategies.
Drive customer-focused feature development and prioritize enhancements based on market value and business impact.
Collaborate with global product management, marketing, and OEM capture teams to develop go-to-market strategies and product messaging.
Define and execute regional market and segment growth strategies to drive revenue and profitability.
Support production ramp-up activities and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.
Travel up to 25% as needed to support customers, internal meetings, and industry events.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, Associate degree with 10+ years of experience, or High School diploma with 12+ years of relevant experience in complex industrial and/or global business environments.
Progressive experience in product management within industrial automation, drives, motion control, or related technologies.
Experience managing customer relationships and supporting products across the full product lifecycle.
Strong technical understanding of industrial drive systems, VFDs, or automation technologies.
Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders across engineering, sales, marketing, and operations teams.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in sales, business development, or customer-facing technical roles.
Experience working with industrial applications such as pumps, fans, compressors, conveyors, refrigeration systems, or extruders.
Experience supporting OEM or industrial manufacturing customers.
Familiarity with product launch strategy, pricing analysis, and market segmentation.
Strong understanding of industrial automation market trends and competitive technologies.
Experience working in a matrixed global organization.
