Job Description:
The person in this role will act as a Designer for all brand assets across a retail store and its performance marketing channels, inclusive of web, social, e-mail, mobile app and other digital or print products.
RESPONSIBILITIES/EXECUTION
Interpret marketing, promotional, and merchandising strategies into compelling creative deliverables for site, app, emails, social and digital ads, as well as print, while maintaining the Retail Stores global creative direction principles
Skilled at retail image curation, visual storytelling, typography, layout, form, and color.
Explore beyond the strategy with several drafts and explorations as possible in the time allotted using visual storytelling, typography, layout, form, and color.
Skilled at articulating strategic choices behind design decisions
Manage time wisely to allow for the independent, accurate design and production of multiple projects
Create weekly web design and marketing emails that effectively communicate the message and goals requested.
Own full email cycle campaigns from ideation to execution.
Create engaging social content for all social channels: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.
Collaborate in brainstorm sessions for seasonal and tactical marketing campaigns with copywriters as well as business partners.
Seek ways to improve the ecommerce experience focusing on mobile and responsive design.
Innovate ideation and inspire other team members, bringing outside ideas into the team via competitive examples
Demonstrate brand best practices in design thinking, encouraging team members to do the same
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL PARTNERSHIP
Collaborate with site merchants, buying team, marketing, planning and other cross-functional teams to support and develop creative that mirrors marketing objectives
Partner with copywriters to incorporate messaging strategic call to action into designs
Engage in problem solving conversations with cross functional partners to provide solutions for messaging.
Build cross-functional partnerships that empower our creative brand evolution
