Role Overview

Seeking a Recruiting Sourcer Contractor to support an internal project team with candidate sourcing, outreach, and pipeline development. This role will focus on identifying qualified candidates, engaging prospective talent, and partnering closely with recruiters to support current and future hiring needs.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with any of the Big 4 Accounting firms and must have intermediate PeopleSoft experience, preferably with 3–5 years of hands-on usage.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source potential candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, social media, networking, and other recruiting channels.

  • Conduct initial outreach to prospective candidates to assess interest, availability, and basic fit for open roles.

  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.

  • Partner with recruiters and project team members to understand role requirements and sourcing priorities.

  • Track sourcing activity, candidate communication, and recruiting updates in the applicant tracking system.

  • Maintain accurate candidate records and ensure timely follow-up throughout the sourcing process.

  • Support the recruiting team in creating a steady flow of qualified candidates for project-related hiring needs.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Prior recruiting, sourcing, or talent acquisition experience.

  • Previous experience with another Big 4 firm strongly preferred.

  • Intermediate PeopleSoft experience required, ideally 3–5 years.

  • Experience sourcing candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, social media, and professional networks.

  • Strong communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

  • Comfortable supporting a fast-paced recruiting team and managing multiple sourcing priorities.

 

Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiting sourcer with experience supporting professional services, consulting, or large corporate recruiting environments. They should be comfortable identifying passive candidates, conducting outreach, maintaining accurate recruiting documentation, and working closely with recruiters to support hiring goals. Prior Big 4 experience, combined with solid PeopleSoft knowledge, will be highly valued for this role.
