Job Description:

A large Construction company is in need of a full-charge bookkeeper/senior accountant. This is a construction company; therefore, they must have a construction background as we need someone familiar with contracts, budgets, loans, etc. Candidates cannot Paterson or Ridgefield Park—this is a requirement. 

Responsibilities:  

• Must have experience in the Construction Industry. 
• Must have experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper/Accountant 
• Will be reporting to the CFO. 
• Handling daily cash balances. 
• Handling AP, Invoicing, and A/R - entering invoices and applying payments. 
• Responsible for billing  
• There will be a high volume of transactions. 
• Will be responsible for fine-tuning and updating the books. 
• Taxes are done on an accrual basis.
