Job Title: Desktop Support Engineer - $25-$35 per hour

Job Description:

Overview: We are actively seeking entry-level/junior technology professionals to join our dynamic team as Desktop Support Engineers. As a Desktop Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical assistance to our diverse clientele in an on-site setting. This position is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with up to five years of professional experience to develop their skills and contribute to the success of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical Support:

1. • Provide first-level support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware issues.
   • Troubleshoot and resolve software applications, operating systems, and connectivity issues.
   • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and applications.

1. Customer Interaction:

1. • Interface directly with end-users to understand and address their technical concerns.
   • Communicate technical solutions in a user-friendly manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
   • Provide remote and on-site support as needed.

1. Infrastructure Management:

1. • Assist in the maintenance and management of IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, and networking equipment.
   • Collaborate with senior engineers to implement and maintain technology solutions.

1. Shift Flexibility:

1. • Work flexible hours, including 9am-5pm and 3pm-11pm shifts, to accommodate client needs.
   • Respond promptly to urgent technical issues during non-traditional working hours.

1. On-Site Presence:

1. • Comfortably work 100% on-site in our NYC office setting.
   • Collaborate with team members to address on-site technical challenges efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Strong foundation in IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, and networking equipment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Recent graduates or individuals with up to five years of professional experience are encouraged to apply.
