Pay Range: $50 to $55 per hour
Job Summary:
Our global client is seeking an Epic Clarity Data Analyst with a clinical focus to extract, transform, and analyze healthcare data, thereby contributing to improved patient care and clinical outcomes. This role will involve collaborating directly with data scientists, software engineers, EHR teams, clinical & operational teams, and senior leadership to provide insights and oversee data analysis within clinical projects. This role will identify and develop requirements, project design, and execution to enhance the value and cost-effectiveness of clinical outcomes.

Essential Job Functions:
1. Extract, transform, and analyze healthcare data related to clinical operations.
2. Create and communicate data analysis reports and visualizations to clinicians and other stakeholders.
3. Oversee and contribute to the development of Epic Clarity reports related to patient care and clinical outcomes.
4. Identify opportunities for improving clinical workflows through user observation, data analysis, and experimentation.
5. Ensure data-driven solutions are addressing measurable clinical problems.
6. Collaborate with IT staff, clinicians, and faculty to integrate advanced technology and protocols into clinical outcomes.
7. Conduct hands-on analysis and statistical forecasting to refine and guide clinical informatics, design, and workflow.
8. Run usability tests and adapt designs accordingly to ensure a satisfactory user experience.
9. Create strategy documents, data dictionaries, and other project documents as needed.
10. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the user experience and informatic foundation is carried through the design and development of digital and health system solutions.

Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree.

2. Epic Clarity Data Model certification.
3. Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, with 2 years of that experience tied to data analysis within the healthcare setting.
4. Proficiency in Epic Clarity reporting and clinical modules.
5. Competent in SQL.
6. Strong grasp of analytic and statistical methods.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge and application of project management disciplines in a complex environment.
2. Experience observing stakeholders and workflows to learn about underlying clinical problems and potential solutions.
3. Experience manipulating and analyzing data in Python or R.
4. Clinical experience in the inpatient or outpatient setting.
5. Experience in facilitating, leading, and influencing large interdisciplinary project teams.
6. Experience with Agile Development methods and tools.
7. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
8. Excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong technical abilities.
9. Epic Clinical Data Model certification.
10. Certified Health Data Analyst (CHDA) certification.
