Loan IQ Migration Consultant

Type: Contract

Start Date: February 2024

Duration: 6 Months (possibility of extension and/or conversion to a direct, Full-Time employee)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week

Location: Whippany, NJ (HYBRID role; weekly hybrid schedule TBD)

Overview: This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading, global Financial Services and Consulting firm for an engagement with one of their premiere Investment Banking clients, within their Wholesale Lending Operations Division. The role holder will work closely with operations users, controls team, technology teams, UAT test manager, and all other stakeholders to understand current business process and work to design Target Operating Model (TOM) and associated requirements documentation for Wholesale Lending migration to Loan IQ platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow agreed design principles to inform and support Target Operating Model processes, with aims to Simplify, Standardize and Automate, drive out recommendations around Process, System and Organizational structure.
  • Support all governance activities with robust planning, scheduling, documentation and sign-offs are delivered.
  • Key stakeholder liaison role to drive the documentation of business requirements, process flows, current vs future gap analysis and any supporting data analysis with all stakeholders including technology and operations partners.
  • Engage with Controls teams and confirm all target processes are defined to enable robust controls to be implemented.
  • Lead and manage process mapping teams, gain relevant inputs to drive required documentation
  • Prepare any required sign-off from stakeholders on various future state design decisions and Go/No Go decisions.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience of rolling out strategic and tactical change across a large organization, understanding of Target Operating Model (TOM) and ability to understand and document detailed processes.
  • Experience of Corporate and IB Lending processes and procedures.
  • 5 years + of Loan IQ experience.
  • Ability to drive strategic Business process design, associate workflow and documentation.
  • Ability to run workshops, document outcomes and ability to deal with various stakeholders.
  • Experienced at stakeholder management including working with Front Office, Operations, and Technology counterparts.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Lending BAU Operational experience including Secondary Loan Trading / Primary Syndication / Markets (nonSLT).
  • Experience in current state analysis, pain point and opportunity identification, target state.
  • Experience using the Agile Project Management approach.
  • Knowledge of and experience working closely with IT, Transformation and Change areas.
