Client Onboarding Specialist

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Location: New York, NY 10004 (HYBRID; must be able to work in-office 3 to 4 days per week)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours per week)

Pay Range: $31 to $36 per hour

Overview: The Client Onboarding Specialist is responsible for carrying out the mandatory suite of ~15 regulatory mailings which are required to be sent on behalf of our global Financial Services client pursuant to various local/country specific non-KYC regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute regulatory mailings as mandated for various non-KYC regulations
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. banking rules and regulations
  • Navigate the Client Onboarding Process, with a focus on KYC/AML documentation
  • Report metrics and Key Risk Indicators (KRI’s) to upper management
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across teams to achieve goals
  • Prioritize and manage workload, including handling ad-hoc requests and projects
  • Effectively communicate with Business Units, Compliance, and global colleagues
  • Address queries promptly and maintain strong working relationships
  • Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and attention to detail
  • Escalate issues and risks to the supervisor in a timely manner
  • Facilitate communication of information and risks among team members
  • Manage multiple tasks under pressure with effective problem-solving skills
  • Exhibit strong research and investigative skills
  • Uphold effective communication skills throughout all responsibilities

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree (Finance, Accounting, Economics, and Business majors preferred).
  • 2+ years of experience (U.S. Banking and/or Financial Operations experience is preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products.
