Role: Mobile Application Developer – Full Time

Location: NYC or Remote OR Hybrid

Salary: $135,000

Primary Responsibilities

• Participate in the development of the mobile application
• Be point-person for communication with vendor partner
• Ensure documentation is maintained on build/release procedures
• Understand backend APIs and how to use them
• Be the interface between backend API developers and vendor partner
• Maintain app store releases

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Preferred familiarity with Flutter/Dart mobile application development
• 2+ years of UI or mobile app development
• 2+ years of software development in a professional setting
• 2+ years of experience with APIs, custom libraries, backend integration
• 2+ years of experience with reading, using, and testing calls to backend APIs using tools like PostMan, Swagger, and browser developer consoles
• Experience with code versioning tools such as Git or Bitbucket
• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA
• Proven ability to write readable code, create documentation for existing code, and refactor previously written code into a readable state
• Understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, including automated testing, building, and releasing for both iOS and Android platforms
• Build user interfaces designed by UI/UX designers
• Integrate user interface elements developed by other developers
• Integrate various APIs from third parties
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work within cross-functional teams and groups
• Ability to demonstrate or showcase previous work
