•    3 roles in SLC – Analyst, S. Analyst, Associate – Corp Action Analysts, within Asset Servicing.
•    Global team of 20 people, expect this to increase in 2022, and you are the Global Head of the team.
•    You would prefer candidates to be sourced from SLC, so that there is some certainty of them staying with the team long term.
•    The skill sets that you are looking for are attention to detail, prioritization, and excellent communication.
•    You believe it will be difficult to find specific AM/Corp actions experience in SLC, however willing to train them up. You have had similar individuals join in the past and they have done very well.
•    For the Analyst level role, willing to take a grad with 0-2 years of experience, so this could be someone from our Ops Academy.
•    On a day to day basis, the individuals will be:
o    Working on a couple of platforms
o    Monitoring upcoming Corporate Actions and critical deadlines.
o    Looking at Voluntary Corporate Actions and working with fund managers on the elections so that custodians can be informed of election choice and go to market
o    Ensuring the affected Corporate actions are reflected correctly in the accounting system
o    Reconciliation between the GS a/c system and custodian
•    The individual would be working with:
o    Global custodians
o    Portfolio managers
o    Internal teams within GS

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Knowledge and experience in financial services
• Asset servicing knowledge is preferred, but not required
• Proven track record contributing in a dynamic team environment
• Pays attention to detail and can multi-task
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications-specifically Excel
• Knowledge of product data, reconciliation, trade management, and accounting functions is preferred but not required
