Job Description:Providing support to over 80,000+ Payroll employees and ensuring compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll tax, unemployment, and disability insurance. The candidate will be responsible for balancing bi-weekly payroll and making all regulatory deposits and filing, aiding in the preparation of W2s, W2cs, 941s, 940s, and State and Local reconciliations. Bachelors preferred. Must have 3+ years of experience in multi-state withholding and unemployment tax filing, SAP, and working knowledge of payroll/payroll tax laws and procedures. IN-PERSON ROLE - parking on-site/free. No vaccine requirement at this time.What You’ll DoAs a Senior Payroll Coordinator using the Payroll Tax skillset, you will use your organizational skills and attention to detail to assist the Payroll Tax department. You will maintain a high level of professional and ethical standards in communicating with both external and internal contacts. The role may require flexibility around overtime. This role provides support for the US Firm's biweekly Payroll, involving 80,000+ employees:• Ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local payroll tax, unemployment, and disability insurance regulations, and requirements by balancing the biweekly payroll taxes and making all regulatory deposits and filings.• Aid in the preparation of all required quarterly and annual returns including the preparation and dispatch of W-2’s, W-2c’s, 941’s, 940’s, and State and Local Reconciliations.• Make all tax returns and deposits via the latest technology possible including the Internet, EFT, and manual filings.• Maintain a customer service center providing payroll tax support and SAP system expertise to Payroll Resource Team.• Research unusual employee situations involving complex payroll tax issues.• Other tasks and projects as assigned.What You’ll Need• High School Diploma or Equivalent required, Associate degree or Bachelor preferred.• Minimum 3 years experience in multi-state withholding and multi-state unemployment tax filing, preferably in a large corporate setting.• Must have a working knowledge of a multitude of payroll and payroll tax laws and procedures. This position requires experience in dealing with federal, state, and numerous local tax jurisdictions.• Candidate must possess a working knowledge of multi-state regulations for reciprocal agreements.• Must possess outstanding analytical skills, including experience will various Microsoft Office software.• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Must be a team player and be able to consistently meet rigorous statutory, firm, and department deadlines.• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.• MasterTax (ADP) software experience is a plus.• Experience with Puerto Rico and/or Canada payroll tax is a plus.• Experience with SAP HCM Payroll is a plus.• Fundamentals of Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
