HR Generalist (Payroll)

Position Type: Full-Time

FLSA Status: Exempt

Location: New York, NY 10019 (HYBRID)

Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Record payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data using Insperity
  • Global payroll monitoring
  • Enter all new hire, termination, leave of absence employee paperwork
  • Ensure payroll reports and documents are received from HR on time in order to process payroll on scheduled dates
  • Research, analyze, and resolve payroll related issues for employees
  • Create bonus and remuneration reports for management
  • Create, review, and distribute various payroll reports to support financial projections, audits bonus, budgeting, vacation accruals, and HR reviews
  • Verify and process employee 401K enrollment/change forms
  • Reconcile 401K contribution rates with payroll date
  • Assist internal and external auditor
  • Year-End W2 preparation and reconciliation

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least three (3) years of payroll OR human resources generalist experience (with a primary focus on payroll administration)
  • Strong working knowledge of human resource information systems (Insperity and ADP a plus)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional experience working in a HR or Payroll position at a global company
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification
